Johannesburg, July 2 (People’s Daily Online) — Chinese enterprise ZTE has showcased its eye-catching iRail solution on Tuesday at the 18th annual Africa Rail exhibition held in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa.
iRail, also known as Intelligent Rail solution, is a railway radio broadband communication solution based on LTE technology and provides broadband applications such as the passenger information service, digital advertisement solution, and patrol alarm system, which enables railway operation become more stable and efficient.
ZTE is the first manufacturer in the industry to introduce LTE technology into the railway communication field, going way beyond the standard, and put it into commercial use.
